Haier Washing Machine - Electronics Error & Motor Failure

5th May 2025

We recently attended a job involving a Haier washing machine that was reporting an electronics error. Diagnosing the issue proved challenging without dismantling the appliance, but a thorough inspection revealed a burnt-out motor and likely damage to the electronic control system as well.

Given the extent of the faults and the cost of potential repairs, the machine was assessed as beyond economic repair. Fortunately, the customer’s warranty covered the issue entirely, and they received a full refund for the appliance.

Key Details:

  • Appliance: Haier washing machine
  • Issue: Electronics error, burnt-out motor, suspected control board damage
  • Outcome: Deemed beyond economic repair, full refund issued under warranty

At John Crawford Electrical and Appliance Repairs, we always provide clear advice on whether repair or replacement is the most practical option. In this case, our prompt assessment helped the customer avoid unnecessary repair costs and secure a warranty claim.
